Sayeed Choudhury - Sayeed Choudhury, Associate Director of Library Digital Programs at the Johns Hopkins Sheridan Libraries, has been appointed a research fellow at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Graduate School of Library and Information Science. He will serve as one of six research fellows during his two-year term, which begins in August 2007.

Affiliated Fellows
Peter Fox - Fox is currently PI for the Virtual Solar-Terrestrial Observatory (VSTO), the Semantically-Enabled Scientific Data Integration, and Semantic Provenance Capture in Data Ingest Systems projects. Since 1985 Fox has been bridging science and distributed data. He joined the Tetherless World Constellation in 2008. Formerly, he was the Chief Computational Scientist at the High Altitude Observatory (HAO) of the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). Fox's research specializes in the fields of solar and solar-terrestrial physics, computational and computer science, information technology, and grid-enabled, distributed semantic data frameworks.

Carole L. Palmer
Palmer is Director of CIRSS and a Professor at GSLIS. Her research investigates problems in scientific and scholarly information work, development of large-scale digital research collections, and barriers to interdisciplinary inquiry. She currently leads a team studying data curation needs across disciplines and the re-use value of long-tail research data and a team studying aggregation and access for digital cultural heritage collections. She has been leading education initiatives in data curation since 2005. Her current projects include: Site Based Data Curation at Yellowstone National Park, Data Curation Education in Research Centers, Digital Collections and Content.
